Anna-Lena Friedsam reached her second quarterfinal of 2023 at the ATX Open after overcoming lucky loser Erika Andreeva in 3 hours and 11 minutes, saving one match point and closing out her fourth in the longest deciding tiebreak of the season so far. Andreeva had won her first round in 3 hours and 32 minutes.
