Paolini holds off Siegemund to make first career WTA 500 semifinal
Jasmine Paolini won the first nine games of her Bank of Communications Zhengzhou Open quarterfinal against qualifier Laura Siegemund, but had to work hard to close out the match and reach the first WTA 500 semifinal of her career.
