Kostyuk holds off Potapova to reach first WTA 1000 semifinal
Marta Kostyuk won the first nine games against Anastasia Potapova, but had to hold off a second-set charge to book her place in the BNP Paribas Open semifinals. The result was Kostyuk's first win in three meetings with Potapova, and moved her into her first WTA 1000 semifinal.
