Leylah Fernandez defeated defending champion and No.4 seed Madison Keys in three sets in the Rothesay International semifinals, levelling their head-to-head at one win apiece. Fernandez advanced to her sixth career final, first on grass and first at WTA 500 level or above since the 2021 US Open.
