Frech bests Glushko in three sets, makes first WTA 500 quarterfinal

No.9 seed Magdalena Frech lost the first set to lucky loser Lina Glushko from 5-3 up in the Abierto GNP Seguros second round, but recovered to win in three to make her first tour-level quarterfinal both at WTA 500 level and on hard courts.
