No. 4 seed Ann Li overcame American compatriot Hailey Baptiste in 2 hours and 38 minutes in the Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem second round, levelling their head-to-head at one win apiece. Li held off a late charge from 5-2 down in the decider by Baptiste to reach her second quarterfinal of 2025.
