LONDON, UK - All six seeded doubles teams in second round action Friday at Wimbledon moved on, and a seventh won without taking the court.

Cara Black and Liezel Huber, co-ranked No.1 in the world and the No.1 seeds, were tested a bit, but got past Poles Klaudia Jans and Alicja Rosolska, 75 62. Next up for the two-time Wimbledon champs are Iveta Benesova and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova.

Second-seeded Spaniards Anabel Medina Garrigues and Virginia Ruano Pascual, the two-time-defending Roland Garros champs, also were challenged, but outlasted Anastasia Rodionova and Galina Voskoboeva, 57 62 64.

Third-seeded Australians Samantha Stosur and Rennae Stubbs, still looking for their first Sony Ericsson WTA Tour title together, defeated Maria Elena Camerin and Anna Chakvetadze, 63 75, to set up an intriguing third round clash against No.16 seeds Svetlana Kuznetsova and Amélie Mauresmo, who knocked off Brits Laura Robson and Georgie Stoop, 63 64.

No.4 seeds Venus and Serena Williams, seeking their fourth title here, cruised past Sabine Lisicki and Aleksandra Wozniak, 61 64. Seventh-seeded Victoria Azarenka and Elena Vesnina advanced when Magdalena Rybarikova and Yanina Wickmayer had to withdraw before the match due to a right shoulder injury suffered by Rybarikova. No.12 seeds Anna-Lena Groenefeld and Vania King edged Brits Jocelyn Rae and Melanie South, 26 63 64, and will next face off with Kaia Kanepi and Ipek Senoglu.

The remaining six second round doubles matches are scheduled for Saturday.
