June 2018 WTA Player of the Month Finalists
Ashleigh Barty: The Aussie won the second WTA singles title of her career to kick off the grass court season in style at the Nature Valley Open in Nottingham, defeating home favorite Johanna Konta in the final.
"When I came back, I decided to start on the grass. I did it for me because I know that I feel comfortable on the surface, and I’m extremely happy on the surface," Barty said after the victory.
"I think it’s been an amazing two years - last year was phenomenal, and I feel like I’m trying do the best that I can to play consistent tennis week in and week out."

Barty followed up her win in Nottingham with a pair of quarterfinal showings in Birmingham and Eastbourne, losing to eventual champion Caroline Wozniacki in the latter.
Petra Kvitova: The two-time Wimbledon champion again served notice that she's one to beat at the All-England Club after a successful title defense at the Nature Valley Classic in Birmingham.
Kvitova dropped just one set over the course of her week in Birmingham, in the final against grass court specialist Magdalena Rybarikova, but rebounded in emphatic fashion to win her tour-leading fifth title of the season, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.

"I'm already pleased with this part of the season," Kvitova said. "I couldn't imagine to have five titles this time of the year, so I'm pretty happy already."
Over the week, she also defeated Johanna Konta, Daria Gavrilova, Julia Goerges and Mihaela Buzarnescu in straight sets.
Caroline Wozniacki: Nearly 10 years after her first title on the lawns of Eastbourne, the Australian Open champion added another Nature Valley International trophy to her mantle last week.
The World No.2 battled through a marathon semifinal with Angelique Kerber - saving match point - and came from a break down in both sets against rising Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka to seal the title.
"It’s just amazing, it’s been a long time ago since I was here as the winner of this tournament, so it’s great that I can still play almost 10 years later," the Dane said after the win.
Wozniacki also became the first repeat winner at the Wimbledon warm-up in Eastbourne since Justine Henin, who lifted the trophy in 2006 and 2007.
The winner will be announced Friday, July 6.
