Social Buzz: Wozniacki reveals her new travel look

It’s been a frustrating couple of weeks for former WTA World No.1 Caroline Wozniacki.
The Dane has been forced to pull out of tournaments in both Doha and Dubai due to ill health, but she has taken to social media to promise fans that she is on the mend.
Additionally, she has a drastic plan to stop herself falling ill on all those flights that have become part and parcel of being an elite sportsperson.
Having to withdraw from the tournaments in Doha and Dubai with a viral illness wasn’t what I had hoped for, but health always comes first! Finally starting to feel better and can’t wait to be back at full strength soon!💪🏻💪🏻 pic.twitter.com/8zTf2o39wL

She is not, however, the only WTA star this week to have had travel problems.
Rising star Amanda Anisimova may have managed to break the Top 60 of the WTA Rankings this month, but the teenager has not yet mastered the art of packing her bags effectively.
I’m talking about stupid stuff. Most of the time I forget the important stuff

Sloane Stephens may be a Grand Slam winner, but that does not stop her having clothes-related issues either.
Why is it that whenever I do laundry I ALWAYS end up with an odd number of socks?!!? Seriously can anyone answer this!

For others, like supermom Victoria Azarenka, the problems of life on the road can be a little more complex, though incredibly sweet, as she shared with her fans via Twitter.

Madison Keys, meanwhile, has lifted the lid on one of her great fears – and it’s one that a lot of people seem to be able to relate to.
Every time I fill my car with gas I have an irrational fear I’m going to drive away with the gas pump so I check to make sure I put it back like 10 times before I drive away

For many people, life on the road as top tennis star is seen as one of glamor and excitement, yet Donna Vekic suggested that reality is not always as it seems.

And while the locations can be incredible, sometimes when on court the weather can be a little too good.

But life on Tour is certainly not all bad, especially when you can grab some well-earned time off.

Petra Kvitova enjoys the fact that there is a challenge around every corner - especially when Hsieh Su-Wei is involved.
The beauty of this sport is that every opponent is unique... Such a challenge today @DDFTennis ♟ pic.twitter.com/rYkDcYAphJ

While Lauren Davis has found someone in ATP World No.5 Kevin Anderson, who stands above 2 meters tall, she can really look up to.
Thanks for the practice today @LaurenDavis93 🙏 The height difference is only because I’m wearing shoes ☺️ pic.twitter.com/zbYMxgh7sJ

But the players also enjoy their time at home, and Bethanie Mattek-Sands and CoCo Vandeweghe showed that this week as they celebrated Love Your Pet Day.
Everyday is #LoveYourPetDay at the Sands’ house 🏡♥️🐶.... Ruger will always be the Babyyyyy #HeReallyLovesThis 😍#YesIKnowItWasYesterday 🤣 #TBT 🗓 #SandStorm 🌪 pic.twitter.com/eQoPAimqSR

Vandeweghe is currently away from the Tour due to injury but is building her fitness and has drawn inspiration from a rather unusual source – fictional newscaster Ron Burgundy.
“... I won't be able to make it, fellas. Veronica and I trying this new fad called, uh, jogging. I believe it's 'jogging' or 'yogging.' it might be a soft j. I'm not sure but apparently you just run for an extended period of time! It's supposed to be wild” - Ron Burgundy pic.twitter.com/BL2vJ2A25o

While she’s been working hard, Carina Witthoeft and Sabine Lisicki have been kicking back and enjoying some time away from the court in contrasting settings, recharging for their next challenges.
