2019 - Closed out season at No.8 on WTA Doubles Rankings for first Top 10 finish of career; the sole lefthander in that elite bracket; season highlight was reaching first Grand Slam final of career at Wimbledon, w/Dabrowski (l. Hsieh/Strycova); also, won ninth career doubles title at Nürnberg and was runner-up at Madrid (both w/Dabrowski); team of Dabrowski/Xu qualified for the WTA Finals for the third time in 2019, going 1-2 in round robin play at Shenzhen; Made Fed Cup debut for China, going 2-0 in doubles at zone level.

2018 - Fell in qualifying twice; won two WTA doubles titles; produced semifinal finish at Wimbledon doubles event w/Dabrowski

2017 - Won two WTA doubles titles, including biggest title of career at Premier Mandatory-level event in Miami w/Dabrowski.
