2021 - Finished the year ranked No.26; returned to the Top 50 in 2021 with a strong start winning her first titles since 2018 at the Phillip Island Trophy in Melbourne (d. Bouzkova in F) and in her home nation of Russia at St. Petersburg defeating three compatriots en route (d. Kudermetova, Kuznetsova and Gasparyan in F); reached two additional finals at Birmingham (l. Jabeur) and San Jose (l. Collins); at the Slams, advanced to 3r at Roland Garros and US Open and 2r at Australian Open and Wimbledon; won 38 matches, 5th time in career winning 30+ matches in a season.
