In 2023 captured first WTA singles title of career at Rabat (d. Stephens in SF and Grabher in F); R-Up at Bad Homburg (l. Siniakova after receiving SF walkover from Swiatek); quarterfinalist at Guangzhou, Ningbo and Monastir; achieved best Grand Slam result of career to date in reaching 3r at US Open (l. Zheng Qinwen).

At start of 2023 season, helped Italy advance to finals of United Cup against United States (l. Keys)
