2017 - Regained Top 100 form for the second time in her career in 2017, finishing as Serbia's No.1 at No.55 - rose to a career-high No.53 on October 9, 2017. Made one of the biggest rankings jumps on tour from the end of 2016, moving up 91 spots from No.146. Reached first tour-level final at 2017 Guangzhou (l. Zhang) and advanced to two quarterfinals during the season, at Tokyo and Tashkent. Also added a title at WTA 125K Series event at Bol, Croatia (d. Cadantu in F) and was a finalist at $100k ITF/Manchester-GBR. Scored second Top 10 victory of career over No.7 Konta in 1r of 2017 US Open (l. Goerges in 3r) - also upset 2017 Roland Garros champion No.12 Ostapenko in 1r at Cincinnati (l. Suárez Navarro in 2r).
2016 - QF once at Rabat; reached 2r twice; fell 1r nine times (incl. Australian Open, Wimbledon, US Open and Olympics) and in qualifying six times (incl.Roland Garros); won one WTA doubles title.
