- Born in São Paulo, Brazil, to parents Marcelo and Alessandra. Has one brother, Arthur, who played D1 collegiate tennis at FAU and is now a tennis coach in Florida
- Graduated from Saddlebrook Preparatory School. Attended Pepperdine University, where she reached a career-high No. 2 in the ITA rankings and was named 2015 ITA National Rookie of the Year
- Best tennis memory is winning a bronze medal in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics with Laura Pigossi
- Grew up idolizing Roger Federer and Kim Clijsters

In 2025, won four WTA Tour doubles titles alongside Timea Babos (Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Strasbourg, Linz; they qualified for WTA Finals and finished R-Up (l. V.Kudermetova/Mertens in F), with Stefani becoming the first Brazilian to reach a WTA Finals final in either singles or doubles
Won 2024 Doha doubles title with Schuurs
Earned first Grand Slam title in mixed doubles at 2023 Australian Open w/compatriot Rafael Matos (first all-Brazilian team to win Grand Slam title)
Claimed three WTA Tour doubles titles in 2023 (Berlin, Abu Dhabi and Adelaide #2) with three different partners
Achieved historic Olympic bronze medal for Brazil in women's doubles at 2021 Tokyo alongside Laura Pigossi (first Brazilians to win Olympic medals in tennis)
