With Wimbledon champion Angelique Kerber now qualified, it's another major champion who makes big moves in this week's Porsche Race to Singapore.

With Angelique Kerber having officially clinched her spot at the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global on Monday, six more spots remain at in the field at the WTA year-end championship.

With the Wimbledon champion joining French Open champion Simona Halep in qualification, US Open champion Naomi Osaka has her sights on joining them in this week's Porsche Race to Singapore update.

The Japanese star won her second title of the season in New York, having also triumphed at the BNP Paribas Open, soared 11 spots in this week's Race to No. 4.

All four major champions this season are now on track to reach the WTA Finals, with Australian Open champion Caroline Wozniacki currently sitting at No. 5.  

Elsewhere in the Race, US Open runner-up Serena Williams moves up 10 spots to No. 11, while US Open semifinalists Madison Keys and Anastasija Sevastova climb five spots to No. 13 and No. 15, respectively.

Here's how the Porsche Race to Singapore stands in singles as of September 10:

In doubles, Miami Open champions Ashleigh Barty and CoCo Vandeweghe added a second trophy to their season's cabinet: the US Open. 

The Aussie and the American move up eight spots in the Race this week to No. 7.
