Greg Garber

Greg Garber is a Senior Writer for the WTA, a role he has held since 2021.

He brings more than four decades of reporting experience to the position. Garber began his journalism career as a reporter at the Dover (N.J.) Daily Advance and the Morristown (N.J.) Daily Record before spending 13 years at the Hartford Courant. He later joined ESPN, where he worked as a reporter, writer and producer from 1991 to 2018 and served as an ESPN.com Senior Writer from 2000 to 2018.

Garber graduated from Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 1979.
