Alex Macpherson

Alex Macpherson is a Web Editor for the WTA, where he produces player interviews and features, bespoke video and highlight content, rankings and stats updates, and match coverage. He has a particular interest in unearthing distinctive player narratives and championing the game's emerging talents.

Before joining the WTA, Alex built more than a decade of freelance journalism experience spanning music, art, politics, travel and sport. His work has appeared in publications including The Guardian, The Village Voice, The New Humanist, Metro, FACT, The Fader and Racquet Magazine, among others.
