Cole Bambini
Cole Bambini joined the WTA Editorial team as a Digital Content Editor in October 2025 and is in his first full season on the WTA Tour. He supports the editorial content plan through feature writing, SEO-driven storytelling and on-site tournament coverage.
Before joining the WTA, Cole spent the 2024–25 NFL season with the Detroit Lions as an Editorial Associate, contributing to DetroitLions.com during the franchise’s 15–2 campaign. His work included editorial production, SEO execution, travel coverage and on-site reporting at select road games and the 2025 NFL Combine.
Cole’s reporting background includes internships with the Omaha World-Herald (2022) and The Buffalo News (2023), where he covered events such as the College World Series, Buffalo Bills training camp and local collegiate and high school sports. At Syracuse University, he covered multiple athletic programs for The Daily Orange and served as Sports Editor in Spring 2023. In 2023, he also traveled to Santiago, Chile, to cover the Parapan American Games for the Wheelchair Sports Federation.
In 2024, Cole graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University, earning his B.A. in journalism and Spanish from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and College of Arts and Sciences.
