Noah Poser
Noah Poser is a freelance reporter based in Chicago with eight years of experience covering professional, collegiate and high school sports.
He began his journalism career in high school, joining the student newspaper, and continued as a sports reporter during his undergraduate years before serving as Editor in Chief of the Ferris State Torch. While earning his master’s degree at Northwestern University, he wrote for Inside NU and, since graduating, has freelanced across the Chicago area. His coverage includes major events such as the Indianapolis 500, the NBA Draft Combine, the NASCAR Chicago Street Race and the Chicago Men’s Challenger.
While Noah has developed a growing focus on tennis, he brings a broad sports background shaped by extensive experience covering football, motorsports, basketball and high school athletics. He holds an M.S. in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, a B.S. in journalism and technical communication from Ferris State University, where he graduated cum laude, as well as an associate degree and a certificate in sports communication.
His bylines include the WTA, Post-Tribune, Kickin’ the Tires and CPS Athletics, with previous work appearing in USA Today, the Wisconsin State Journal, the Lake County News-Sun, Inside NU, the Ferris State Torch and his Substack, Serving You Sports.
