The Tuesday after US Thanksgiving is known as “Giving Tuesday,” and this year WTA Charities kicked off a global giving initiative to benefit Ronald McDonald Houses worldwide.

All of the WTA’s offices participated in the charitable action, including the corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida, its European headquarters in London, its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Beijing and its Singapore headquarters.

In Beijing, WTA staff collected toys and pitched in for a new clothes dryer to donate to the RMDH in China, while the Singapore office donated 50 “Tubs of Love” to the RMDH in Singapore to benefit mothers in need.

According to the Singapore RMDH, Tubs of Love are “a baby bathtub filled with essential newborn layette items" that are given out to needy mothers to help them get started on motherhood in the first few months of their child’s life.

And in St. Petersburg, Florida, WTA staff split up into various teams in order to maximize their giving efforts. Team “WTA Charities” - made up of members of the communications and human relations departments - went to the St. Petersburg RMDH to cook dinner.
