Sofia Kenin was coached to her maiden Grand Slam success in Australia by father Alex, who was famously a taxi driver before he helped his daughter conquer the tennis world.

Sylvain Bruneau began coaching at 19 and helped Bianca Andreescu to pick up the 2019 US Open, her first major success.

Simona Halep was in the midst of a break from working with Darren Cahill when she won Wimbledon 2019. It was compatriot Daniel Dobre who was in her corner for that famous success.
