Career in Review

In 2023, reached semifinals at Budapest (l. eventual champion Timofeeva) and Ningbo (l. eventual champion Jabeur); also advanced to semifinals of three WTA 125 events

Advanced to second Tour-level SF of her career at 2022 Chennai (l. eventual champion Fruhvirtova)

Returned to Tour at Wimbledon qualifying after a 10-month break to recover from multiple injuries

Improved year-end ranking from 2019 by over 200 spots, having finished last year at No.255 while ending the 2020 season at No.48, entering the Top 100 and the Top 50 for the first time in her career

Enjoyed breakout season in 2020 which was highlighted by SF run as a qualifier at Roland Garros where she recorded her maiden Grand Slam main draw match win before going on to upset No.5 Svitolina to register the first Top 20 win of her career
