Amanda Anisimova and Beatriz Haddad Maia will square off for the first time. 17-year-old Anisimova aims for her second WTA singles final. The American lost to Hsieh Su-wei in the Hiroshima final last year.

Qualifier Haddad Maia is also seeking her second WTA singles final. The Brazilian was runner-up to Jelena Ostapenko at Seoul in 2017.

Sharma is also into her first-ever WTA women's doubles final, partnering her compatriot Zoe Hives, who has also reached her first final. They will battle two other first-time WTA finalists, Americans Hayley Carter and Ena Shibahara, for the trophy. Sharma did reach the mixed doubles final at the Australian Open earlier this year.
